Alexandra Camille Renwick was designed in Canada, built in California, and released in Texas. She’s the author of dozens of short stories, including award-nominated collection Push of the Sky (written as Camille Alexa) which earned a starred review in Publishers Weekly and was an official reading selection of the Powell’s Books SF Book Club. Her fiction draws from a mixed Caribbean/Scandinavian heritage and a 1970s bohemian childhood shaped by a folklore scholar, an accomplished artist, and a Norwegian grandma with a penchant for classic SF.

Resident of both US & Canada, she hops across international and genre boundaries, splitting time between crime & noir, science fiction, and literary fabulism somewhere between Portland, Austin, and Ottawa.
